-While running through old 7th Guest film clips I ran into the possible 3rd game of the 7th Guest series (The 2nd is 11th Hour) called the Collector. Unfortunately the 3rd game never happened because the company that was going to make it went belly up. :(

-Traveling back from Boston was interesting as I had to be rude to one person to get onto the highway and out of Boston. Said person ignored my right signal to pull into their lane as well as my attempt to pull a little further ahead of them to get into their lane (They sped up with me). So after two strikes of me being a polite driver I thought, "Fuck 'em", signaled once again and started pulling into their lane. They quickly noticed me, honked for good measure, and pulled back to give me room. I feel no guilt associated with this and feel quite content that I did the right thing.

After this experience I don't mind driving through the streets of Boston and would love to go back. :) My sister has a kick ass place to live and the restaurant a couple blocks away is nice.

-So the hair got shortened today and it will eventually grow back.

-Played more Fallout 3 today, and got more Half Life game time in. I'm planning on getting the orange box with Half Life 2/the various episodes/Portal/Team Fortress 2 once finished with Half Life.

-It has been wonderful having everyone home to tell stories, and just being around one another. The house is a better place because of it. Thanksgiving is probably one of the best holidays if just for the time everyone spends with their families and away from stress.

Hope everyone had a good holiday and had at least one extra day of rest. Tomorrow, I travel to Boston to drop off my sister, her beloved, and their kitty back home.

-Since my brother arrived this past Tuesday I've been playing games like there is no tomorrow. I got to play Fallout 3 this afternoon and it was epic fun. If you haven't played it then please do. The controls and the combat system were troublesome at first (those with Xbox experience should pick it up quick) and with my brothers help I figured it out.
The first 15 minutes are just character building storyline and it is done very well. Might even surprise those family members who like to watch you play video games but don't like First Person Shooters. The plot in this game is you are a member of a colony from a post nuclear war age. The colony has shut its doors to the rest of the world many ages ago. Sorta a "City of Ember" (seen the movie but not read the book) except with more advanced technology like robots.

-My brother also suggested I try "Steam". The online place where you can download games to your computer and then play them. It's good but I did have the game freeze twice on me but I can live with that.

-The video game review of 'Splosion Man.



-Everybody loves Donuts, a truly silly song from the game. :)

-What can I say, I am amused. :)

-I'm impressed with "World War Z" with what appears to be a plausible course for humanity should it start to become overrun with zombies. The book is a about a biographer going to different survivors of the Z war and collecting their views. The situations depicted range from silly, tragic, and downright horrific. I'm almost half way through and it is a great read.

-The past couple of weeks has not been fun mental wise. This time of year gets to play with my head quite a bit. The family picked up a 'natural' light machine which mimics sunlight and spending an hour or two under its light has been a BIG help improving less then sunny disposition.

-Listening to the rain fall on the roof this morning was wonderful, and observing the foggy mist around Newfound lake was cool.

Is it me or does the polls on facebook feel somewhat to the right of center?

I heard about Obama bowing to another leader on NHPR this morning and I think that is fine. If he made a social mistake, then oh well.

If we can treat world leaders with respect/follow their customs then good relations are maintained. Or at least they will have a good chuckle and give a proper golf clap for the attempt. We can razz them when they come here and have to try the Big thunder bonsai chili for lunch. :)
