-For future reference Sarah P., there is no "Department of Law" at the white house. Just wanted you to know.
-If there ever becomes one department such as you described then the country has gone completely to crap. And I will move to Canada to begin cloning my Drop Bear army from secret breeding grounds in New Brunswick. From which I will unleash my patriotic fuzzy legions of red/white/blue doom to rain doom upon the 3V1L!
-Alright I'm finished being silly now. Honest.
Had a good day for the most part (with or without Drop Bears)
Learned from agency meeting: (that had no Drop Bears what so ever)
Chew slowly to give youself time to enjoy the food you are eating (food meditation), just because it says low fat doesn't mean it's healthier, drink less sugary drinks, reduce portion sizes for too big meals, avoid trees in Australia, and exercise for at least 30+ minutes in addition to wherever daily activities you do.
Spending more time going for walks so I can get back into it. Working on the soda drinking but at least I'm consuming less.
Peace & Drop Bears,

-One of my fav scenes from the 5th element.
-Why Mythbusters is one of my favorite shows. :) They take large things and break them down into smaller things. With Explosives. :D
While also proving or disproving myths of everyday life. (More often then not with explosives)
Happy after 4th, (or after fireworks day)

-Computer is down and out for the next week or so. When my brothers room is finished then the computer will be back on-line. So my online time will be limited.
Did see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I liked the movie surprisingly enough. But it isn't my transformers. There a few parts that reminded me of 'Gremlins' and later on a few scenes reminded me of 'The Terminator'. In short the movie is an action comedy with more explosions then you can shake a stick at.
Hope your weekends are sunny.

-Had a good walk this evening, and I saw my first June Bug. The Lightning bugs are out in force and it was cool to see them blinking about.

-Happy fathers day & happy summer solstice guys! :) I cleaned my fathers car as well as gassing it up and getting it washed for his fathers day gift.
-Glad to hear my brother is doing great in Peru.
-Tomorrow my brothers room starts getting work done on it. Hopefully in a week the room will be done, all the damage will be repaired, and I can move all of the stuff in my room back into my brothers room.
All the best,

-I have never been to what is called "Bike Week" in New Hampshire.
That changed today. ...
I felt like a trout attempting to swim amongst the bananas.
-When I got off the train from Meredith to Weirs Beach the hoards of people reminded me of Anime Boston except with no cosplayers, lots of leather, tattoo shops, & motorcycles. IMHO, I'd rather go to Anime Boston or a Science Fiction convention. I prefer catgirls to cowgirls. :)
What really startled me at Bike Week was walking into a clothing shop and a.) looking at the shirts that were being sold while b.) Listening to the young female store attendant attempt to win the award for most usage of the word "Jesus" in a sentence.
The shirt image content fit into one of three things:
#1.) A half naked woman showing off her butt while stretched/seated on a bike.
#2.) American flag imagery, solders, honored vets, Bald Eagles, or any such combination next to a bike.
#3.) Lots and lots of Christian religious symbols. A bike is usually present but not required.
-Nothing wrong the shirts themselves (I found myself distracted by the #1's a lot), but not my choice of clothing. I prefer "The Cake is a Lie!", to "You never forget your first guardrail."
-All in all, if you're into that sort of thing Bike Week is a riot.
This is sk_b signing off.

-I was munching happily in a German restaurant when I saw a live feed of George H. W. Bush floating to Earth. I was worried for a moment that this was actually W but I was relieved that it was his father (George Herbert Walker Bush) instead, and I think it's awesome George H. W. Bush got to celebrate his birthday in style.
-The day before I saw Palin in the news and listened for a few moments to hear her speak.
...
O.O
...
DEAR GOD, WHY IS SHE ALLOWED ANYWHERE NEAR WASHINGTON, DC?!?!
Liberal media my shiny metal ass. If you can't answer simple questions, withstand the media blitz, or take a joke (from David Letterman of all people) then stay out of kitchen!

Ah home. At last I have found thee.
Gracious is thy location and unfortunate is thy pile of mail awaiting me.
I have longed for greater shores and warmer pastures.
And now I am satisfied that I have enjoyed both.
Til once again I grow restless.
Which will be any day now.
Peace,

-The hotel last night could have been better but it was a place to sleep. Auirsville, NY has a shrine for 3 martyrs that we visited this morning. It was an awesome walk through with lots of cool birds spotted as well as Red Spotted Newts.
-This evening in Lake George was rather fun. The multiple arcades were a lot of fun to visit and the arcade with the classic shooting range I used to go play at as a kid is a must see. Took some photos of a Merganser on the water with her chicks floating alongside her. The equivalent place in New Hampshire would be like Hampton Beach.
Other birds spotted:
Scarlet Tanger,
Common Flicker,
& Mockingbirds

-The Bingo (Binghamton) Mets were awesome! They in fact won 10 to 7, which I guess is a rare thing. The B-Mets stadium was a fair walk from the hotel and the seats were nice.
-The Cooperstown baseball Museum is not to be missed. So much history. So many good people have played this game. Ty Cobb was a monster in the game but he was talented and one of the best if not the best. When I looked at the the pictures of Ty Cobbs face I see the intensity and it is frightening.
It was something else to see the Jersey of The NY Knights from the Natural. I highly recommend going to Cooperstown at least once but don't go during the summer. The amount of folks during the summer is too much.
To be honest, after spending all the time here, it feels like home. The land reminds me of the green mountains of Vermont, and the tv channels have the NY teams being shown. NY has been a home away from home and it is interesting to reflect on that.
Peace,

-"Muppet News flash!"-
sk_b - I've just been alerted that "Drag me to Hell" is in fact "Evil Dead 4"!
(Readery books start laughing, ceiling lights start flickering, blood starts flowing down the bookstore computer screen, the moose (Where the hell did that come from!?!) starts laughing, and a Yankee Candle rolls by yelling "I'll Swallow your soul!")
sk_b - Argh! And I didn't need to come to work today!
